Best Month to Go to Machu Picchu
The ideal time to visit Machu Picchu is during the dry season (April to October). These months offer clear skies, minimal rainfall and optimal conditions for exploring the Inca citadel (June, July and August) are the busiest months and attract many visitors due to the pleasant climate. However, visiting the city during the low seasons (April, May, September or October) allows you to enjoy less crowds and favorable conditions.
Note: avoid going to Machu Picchu on Sundays, as the locals enter for free on Sundays and it can be more crowded.

The student discount can reduce the price of your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu by approximately 20USD depending on the type of ticket. You must be a student of higher education (university or high school) and be under 25 years of age.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STUDENT ID
To benefit from the student discount, travelers must present a valid student ID that meets the following criteria:
- Must be 25 years old or younger at the time of entry to Machu Picchu. Travelers over the age of 25 are not eligible for the student discount.
- The ID must include the name of the university, as well as the name and photograph of the student.
- The ID must be current and not expired.
INVALID STUDENT IDS
Student IDs will not be accepted for a discount under the following circumstances:
- The traveler is over the age of 25.
- The ID is expired.
- The student ID does not include an expiration date.
- ISIC cards are not considered valid for this discount.
CHILDREN DISCOUNTS
- All children under 8 years old have a 30 USD discount on this tour.

NEW VISITOR CIRCUITS
- New circuits for visitors
Machu Picchu has implemented three main circuits to improve the visitor experience and preserve the archaeological site. - Priority will be given to circuit 2. In case it is not available, options of circuits 1 or 3 will be offered for the visitor to confirm their choice before the ticket is issued.
ENTRANCE TICKET
- The Machu Picchu entrance ticket is non-refundable and does not allow amendments or rescheduling of dates.

- Train departure times vary based on the service and station. ECO TOUR CUSCO will confirm all tour details in advance.
TICKET ISSUANCE
- Due to high demand and limited entries, admission will be issued for Circuit 2 as a priority. If unavailable, Circuit 3 will be offered, with prior coordination with the passenger.

- Travelers are advised to arrive in Cusco at least one day in advance. Ideally, arriving 2 days before is recommended to manage any flight cancellations or delays.
