This package is ideal to enjoy with time and patience the magnetism, tranquility and beauty of this beautiful city of Cusco. You will also tour the Sacred Valley of Cusco with its beautiful villages that show its mestizaje, culture, art and architecture; visiting Pisac and Ollantaytambo with a stop for lunch in the cozy town of Urubamba. The program allows us to visit Machu Picchu very early in the morning, without many people in the place, which is a rewarding experience. And we will finish with a half day tour to the salt mines of Maras and Moray delighting the eyes of the visitors with the breathtaking views and the picturesque landscapes and snow-capped mountains.

| Arriving in Cusco
We’ll be waiting at the airport to welcome you and take you to your hotel. Then you will have free time to rest and acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco city (10899 ft.above sea level).
PM: Sacsayhuaman – Qenqo – Pucapucara and Tambomachay – half day
In the afternoon, you’ll have a half day walk to see some of the most well known and valued Incan structures our tour has to offer, consisting of 4 impressive temples and ceremonial centres. You’ll learn about their ancient rituals and the deep connection they had with nature and La Pacha Mama (Mother Earth). We’ll pick you up from your hotel by car and drop you off at your doorstep at the end of the day.
07:00 | The Sacred Valley of the Incas with a night in Ollantaytambo
Here you’ll enjoy a spectacular trip passing through some beautiful towns that show their rich culture, art and architecture. We’ll visit the archeological sites in Pisac and Ollantaytambo, where we’ll walk around this charming little town which is home to beautiful stone streets, Inca houses and was one of the last battlegrounds between the Incas and the Conquistadors. It’s no wonder that Ollantaytambo is a popular destination for travellers and one of the most impressive that Cusco has to offer. You’ll spend the night in a hotel here, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
05:00 | Machu Picchu full day
Travelling through the Andes of Cusco, you’ll arrive at the legendary Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. At the beginning of the day, you’ll take a train through the breathtaking countryside to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll take a bus to the doorstep of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you’ll have a guided tour of the most important places in the citadel including the House of the Guardians, The Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Intihuatana and more. This incredible structure was one of the last cities to be inhabited by the Incas before it was later abandoned during the Spanish conquest.
At the end of the day, you’ll descend the mountain by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have free to time to have lunch, rest and look around before our return train to Cusco.
| Maras Moray – Chinchero – half day
Mysterious Pre-Incan terraces used for agriculture, and natural forming salt pools will be the highlights of today. The salt produced from the salt mines in Maras is well known for its healthy properties, and it has been used by the indigineous populations for hundreds of years. Moray is made up of agricultural terraces that use a complex water system for irrigation, such as canals and aqueducts. Chinchero is an important, historic, Incan centre that to this day conserves its indigenous heritage, which is well known for its bright and colorful textiles.
PM: Cusco City Tour
In the Afternoon, you’ll have the Cusco city walking tour. You’ll be able to see for yourself the combination of indigienous Inca architecture and colonial structures which make up the curious history of this magical city. Some of the main attractions include, the temple of Coricancha, the 12 sided stone, the Nazarena Plaza, the hill of Almirante, the Main Square and the lookout from San Cristobal.
| Transport for your Departure
We’ll pick you up from your hotel to transport you to Cusco airport for your departure flight.
- Weather: The rainy season is from November to March, the dry season is from March to October, with bright sunny days, and intense cold in the evenings and morning.
- We recommend that you schedule your Cusco departure flight 1 day before your international flight, in case of delays, which are quite common.
