Ausangate Trek 3 days Itinerary

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 am and drive for approximately 2 hours in our private van to Tinki, where you can stretch your legs, meet locals in their traditional attire, and, if open, visit the local market. Afterward, we’ll continue for another hour along a bumpy, dusty road to Upis Pampa, where a hearty breakfast awaits.

The trek begins with a relatively easy trail featuring flat sections and some gentle ups and downs. After about 3 hours of hiking, we’ll arrive at Upis Campsite, with breathtaking views of Mount Ausangate. After a delicious lunch, you’ll have the option to hike to Upis Lake (a 2-hour round trip) or enjoy a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs. Both activities offer stunning views of Ausangate and are perfect for photography. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and watch the sunset reflecting on Ausangate before retiring to cozy cabins.
