Description
Experience the short and gratifying hike along the Apu Salkantay route, located in the Vilcabamba mountain range. Starting in Soraypampa, from where we begin a hike to arrive to the foot of the Snow-covered mountain Humantay, from whose melting ice the Humantay Lake is born.
You’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the turquoise-colored lake, whose watery mirror reflects the beauty of the Humantay snow-covered mountain, which is part of the Vilcabamba mountain range.

04:00 | Transportation to Mollepata
A bus will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Mollepata.
07:00 | Breakfast
We will make a stop in Mollepata for breakfast, which is included.
08:00| Transport to Soraypampa
We stop at Soraypampa from where we will start the hike to the lagoon.
09:00| Hiking to Humantay Lagoon
It is a 1-hour hike uphill to reach the Humantay Lagoon.
11:00| Relax at the lagoon
When you arrive at the lagoon you will have time to rest and take pictures.
13:00| Descent and return to Mollepata
After the rest, you will begin the hike back down to the starting point for the return trip by bus to Mollepata.
14:00| Lunch
In Mollepata you will enjoy the included lunch before departing back to Cusco.
17:00| Return to Cusco
Relax on the 3-hour ride back to Cusco.
