Conquer Rainbow Mountain: A Colorful Wonder of the Andes

Itinerary

04:00 | Transfer

At the beginning of the day we will pick you up at your hotel between 04:30 a.m. and 05:10 a.m., to start a 3 hour direct trip to the base of Vinicunca, from where the trek begins.

07:00 Breakfast

Upon arrival it is very cold so you should bring warm clothes, on the way we pass by the restaurant where breakfast is served.

08:00 | Hike

Then we start a hike for about 1:30 hours to the viewpoint of the Rainbow Mountain.

10:00| Summit

Upon reaching the summit, the guide will give you the corresponding explanation, then you will have 40 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the scenery.

13:30| Return

Finally, you will return to the base of the mountain in a 2 hour hike, then you will go to the restaurant where you will have lunch and then you will start your return trip to Cusco. The tour ends in Cusco at approximately 18:00.

To book your Rainbow Mountain tour full day, click the BOOK NOW button and select your departure date. Next, fill in the personal information for each participant. Finally, complete the reservation by paying the deposit per person.

Once we receive your deposit, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your trip to Ausangate will be fully secured.
