The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour is one of the travelers’ favourite. It is one of the best options to reach Machu Picchu because during the journey to the World Heritage Site, you’ll be able to visit the different areas of the Sacred Valley: the market, the archaeological site of Pisac and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Once in Ollantaytambo you’ll take the train to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes).
The second day is dedicated to visit Machu Picchu, there is a guided tour of two hours and free time to explore the citadel.

Itinerary
Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes
The tour begins in the morning at 7:00am, at meeting point in front of the VAW office in Cusco.
We’ll pick you up in a tour bus to take you first to Pisac, a lovely little town in the Sacred Valley, where you’ll have time to explore its artisan market and its archeological ruins. After Pisac, we’ll continue our journey to Urubamba, where we’ll enjoy lunch, which is also included.
After lunch, we’ll continue on to the next site, the immense and fascinating archeological remains of Ollantaytambo. After this visit, you will board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu, where you’ll spend the night. You’ll also have the option to visit the town’s thermal hot springs.
Transportation to Machu Picchu
After having breakfast (included in your hotel), you will board a bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Visit to Machu Picchu
Upon arrival, the guide will take you around Machu Picchu visiting the most important places of interest.
Return to Aguas Calientes
After the visit, you will descend in a bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch and finally take the train back to Cusco.
Return to Cusco
The return to Cusco will be done by train to Ollantaytambo and then in a private transport to your hotel in Cusco. You will take the train between 2:30 and 4:20 pm, depending on whether you ascend one of the mountains. (The trip from Machu Picchu to Cusco takes 4 hours – 2 hours by train and 2 hours by bus).

Huayna Picchu (Information About)
With this itinerary, you can climb Huaynapicchu mountain, the mountain next to and overlooking Machu picchu. But in this time it is not possible for the measures to prevent the covid-19 transmission.
